Two police officers were controling the sea when a shark apeared swiming. Thankfully, the shark swam away from them.

I think that is a shocking new, but Australia is full of sharks so I think it's not very important. But if I was one of the police officers, I would be son scared.

A Brazilian women was shot with a bullet, but the bullet impacted in the bra and she didn't die.

In my opinion this is a strange new, because not all the days are murders, and besides not all the days a bra saved the life of a woman. I think that someone can make antibullets bras.

Snakes under house

A man from Texas went under his house after high winds and found 45 rattlesnakes.

I think it's an another shocking bnew but different. Snakes, when weather warms up, they hid where thay can, so it's not an incredible new. I think that if the weather is not good, you have to be carefull with places that snakes can live.

New Year's resolutions

New Year's resolutions

1. Quit eating my nails

My most urgent New Year's resolution is to quit eating my nails. I proposed every year ago but I never achieved. I eat nails since I was very young. It's not worrying, but my ring finger has little nail. All the people tell me that it's disgusting but I continue eating. I eat my nails beacuse I am nervous, (when I have exams or important things.) The main problem is that I don't let time to grow them.
I tryed to quit eating nails, but it's impossible for me. I put a sour liquid on my nails, but it didn't work. The flavour was so bad, but the desire to eat my nails is more powerful.

This year I will cover my ring fingers with adesive tape. With effort and sacrifice I think that I will achieve!

Catalan traditions on Christmas

It's Christmas time, the coldest season of the year and my favourite to. In Catalonia we have more than two weeks to celebrate Christmas, but Christmas Catalan traditions are very different than the others.

Here we beat a trunk with sticks and finally the trunk give us presents. This tradition is called "Caga el Tió", and we celabrate at 24th of December, Christmas Eve. I celabrate this two times: one with my father's family and the other with my mother's familiy. We can't celabrate at the same day because there isn't time, so we celabrate with my mum's family at 23rd. With my mum's family we make the "invisible friend" that consists it consits in give a present to someone that you have assignate in anonimate. It has to include a clue to identificate who had given us the present. It's very cool.

I love Christmas because all the family can stay together, but the most incredible thing are the dinners and lunches. They are dellicious.

1) Ghotic novels were invented by Horace Walpole, with his 1764 novel The Castle of Otranto. 

2) Omen, portent, necromancer, scorcerer, clancking metals, choler, incense, wrath, grief, dismal.

3) Imperial Gothic refears to late 1800 set in the British empirament on English India. It's an adaptation of the normal Gothic, and it plays with the mind of the public making them imagine that they are controled by tirans and reciving a lot of pain and punish.
4) He was an American writer, poet, and literary critic. He was the creator of the scary storys. He was born in 19th January of 1809 in Boston. He was famous because he wrote poems and short stories about mystery and macabre things. He is considered the inventorn of gothic.
5) He got married to his 13-year cousin. But she died 2 years later for tuberculosis.
6) Nobody knows how he died, but the experts think that it's by the fault of alcohol and drugs.
7)The most famous novels are: the black cat, the raven, never more, the casc of Amontillado...
8) His nick name is The Master of suspense.
9) His most famous film was Psycho.
10) He showed us that diverse cinematic could be transformed into a powerade storytelling. But most gratest legacy are his films, that it will continue beeing most watched of the world.
11) The comic relief it's a sequence to lower the tension. When in the film is happening something scary, that you know that the sequence is going to scare you, it appears a another sequence that makes you laugh and forget the scare. We can find comic reliefs in all the scary movies.

MY WORLD 3

Basketball time

My favourite sport is basketball. I play since I was seven years old. I play in L'escala, a team in l'Alt Empordà. I love my team, whe have a nice conection with everybody. My coach name is Dolfo, he is short and lame. We are in the second league (B), on the 4th place. Today I am going to play with Fontajau here, in L'escala. We are ten players from 14 and 15 years old.

We have to strive a lot to win this match because this is one of the most difficult matches.

Hi mum,

I write this emal to tell how is it going here. Now, I am living with an Irish family that lives in the center of Dublin. I that house, there are an Irish woman married to a Scotish man. I have a younger brother that is eleven years old. I am feeling very good with them. I am studying English in a school that is called Saint James'School. I study five hours of English every day. In my freetime I play the piano every day. I also go for a walk with a new friend, Isogay. He is Japanese. We always eat sandwiches. I am here since 8th of August. I have to make the most of my time here. Thanks for making this trip possible.

Horror Context

The necromancer

Last night was October 31, the day that souls of death bodys return to the human world. I was afraid. A scorcerer was chasing me. I was runing aniwhere. Finally I found an old dismal castle. I was tired. There was clanking chains on my mind. Mournfully the necromancer was behind me sighing. I was so tired and I could not scape anywhere. I just heard what he said: "Today is the magic day, the day that you will learn the magic of necromancers.
