MY WORLD 8

Measures of protection to go out

Have you ever wondered how long confinment will last? Yesterday, the president of Spain Pedro Sánchez had extended the confinement for 15 days more. Also the government of Catalonia has announced several measures for children and teenagers to go out. If all goes well, the date will be announced starting next weekend

There are several rules that must be followed to keep people from becoming infected:

  1. Who will be allowed to go out? Children and teenagers will be allowed to go out in different hours.
  2. What hours will be allowed to go out? From 6 years old will be allowed from 12:00 to 14:00. From 6 to 16 will be allowed from 16:00 to 18:00. From people older than 16 will be allowed from 18:00 to 20:00.
  3. Is it necessary to be accompanied? People up to 6 years old must go accompanied by a person of the family.
  4. What can't be done during the outdoors? You cannot go to the parks. You can't use public transport. You can't eat food or drink. You can't use sports facilities. You can't go shopping.
  5. Will the people be able to meet friends? No they won't. They only can be found by chance. They must be 2 meters apart from each other. There is a maximum of 10 minutes to speack. Kisses and huges will not be allowed.
  6. Will the children have to wear masks? Of course.
The rules are very necessary for the children, because they have stayed more than a month in their houses and could not go out. The goals of these rules are just for our protection and health.

I hope this confinment will not take more time!

MY WORLD 7

Confinement Days

COVID-19 came to our area since one month aprproximately. This virus has the ability to move from person to person very easily. The government of Catalonia has forced schools to close and doesn't allow people to go outside if it's not for a basic need. Children must stay home without meet friends and do activities outside.

These days are beeing a bit lazy. Teachers have put a lot of work. Thankfully we have all the day to do whatever we want. In my house I have a garden, so I can do sport. I have become a fan of ping-pong. Every afternoon, I play matches with my father. We are also painting the wooden beams of the porch. This takes a bit of work. I help my perents doing houseworks. Of course I play videogames and talk to my friends. The most frustrating thing is not being able to leave the house.

I hope these days finish fast and go back to the routine
